    Titles read: "SHADOW FACTORIES IN FRANCE".

    France.

    M/S of exterior of aircraft factory, 'Avions Herry Dotez', with French tricolour flags flying outside. Several shots inside the armaments factory show men working on aeroplanes and France's Air Minister (unnamed) walking about with his entourage and inspecting the work. He listens to a man talking beside a partly built plane. Outside, the Minister watches trail flights by several planes, including a new commercial airliner.

    Poland.

    Various shots of the opening of a new airport at an unspecified location. A military official receives a bunch of flowers and a kiss from a child. L/S of lines of aircraft sitting on the airfield. Officials and military men watch a flypast. Commentator says "... if there ever is a showdown, it looks as if Poland is strong enough to make her presence felt on the international stage".
