He listens to a man talking beside a partly built plane. Outside, the Minister watches trail flights by several planes, including a new commercial airliner.

    Various shots of the opening of a new airport at an unspecified location. A military official receives a bunch of flowers and a kiss from a child. L/S of lines of aircraft sitting on the airfield. Officials and military men watch a flypast. Commentator says "... if there ever is a showdown, it looks as if Poland is strong enough to make her presence felt on the international stage".
