    Several shots of Billy Wright's speech. Crowd sing 'For He's A Jolly Good Fellow'. Billy apologises for keeping everyone so late and says they'll be home before 7 o'clock in the morning. He thanks the civic authorities for the honour and thanks everyone for the presentations. Speech is cut quite a lot. Billy talks of Major Frank Butler, mentioning the advice and help he received from the former manager of the Wolves. He talks of his career in football. He ends by referring to his marriage the previous year as the most wonderful thing that has happened to him. He jokes he will become the fourth member of the Beverley Sisters. He thanks the Wolverhampton supporters and wishes the team good luck.

    The man seen at 00:06 is the then Mayor of Wolverhampton, Mr John Clement Homer.
