Helene Hay was the eldest daughter of the Marquis and Marchioness of Tweeddale.
Amongst the bridesmaids are Helen's sister Georgina Hay, Lady Mary Crewe-Milnes, Lady Anne Hope and the Hon. Patricia St. Clair.
