    Nicosia, Cyprus.

    Soldiers of the Royal Suffolk Regiment aided by Security Police make a search of the whole village in a temperature of 105 degrees. Suspects being brought in. Troops searching poorer Turkish huts, policewomen are used for searching women, roofs and caves being examined. Turning over dustbins. Stop for refreshments in burning heat. A supply of water is provided for troops by the Turks. Weapons, tin hats etc., on road. Various shots of suspects being brought in, of them being searched for arms in village police station. Children looking at guards. Passes being examined. Haul of weapons. Curfew lifted for women only, to do their shopping round the village.
