    Various shots of men working on a new sea wall between Birchington and Reculver. The men dig and flatten clay. Wooden posts are forced into the ground with a special machine. A man uses a theodolite.

    Wire is fitted together to form part of the structure. Concrete blocks are lifted by cranes and transported by wagon. Blocks are put in place and hot tar is poured between the gaps to keep them in place.
