Title reads: "Scottish Cup Final - Celtic V Motherwell at Hampden Park"
Glasgow, Scotland. May be the 1931 final, but the title card looks earlier than that.
The two teams run out onto the pitch. Celtic wearing their traditional green and white hoops. The two captains toss up. Various shots of play during the football match. As usual for Hampden the crowds are huge.

You indicate some doubt as to whether it is the 1931 Cup final replay. The Celtic goalkeeper who emerges from the tunnel does not look like John Thomson (who died at Rangers v Celtic game five months later). He had a distinctive shock of black hair (google him or see Wiki).
As 1931 was Motherwell's first final, and the footage venue is definitely Hampden, it may have been the 1933 final (when Joe Kenneway was in goal for Celtic) or the 1925 semi-final (Charlie Shaw in goal), both games also at Hampden.
You could also compare it with the 1931 (i.e. same year) semi-final at Hampden of which you have brief action footage, played four days previously
I am a sports journalist (and writer on that era and later).
p.s. That should have read, 3rd para ... 1931 (same year) FINAL - the first game played four days before this replay. Incidentally, the referee in the first game footage does not look the same guy as in the above, apparently Peter Craigmyle, whereas the same referee would be expected to officiate for the replay.
