L/S exterior of large castle or country house. Pan left to right several people are moving about on skis in front of the building. Ski instructor demonstrates to row of pupils. He gets them to lift one foot up so that the ski is vertical. Another angle shows the row of pupils, several of them fall over. They are standing in a snow covered area, behind them are tree covered hills. The group ski down a fairly slight slope. Several of them tuck quite low and look as if they know what they are doing. One of them falls over.

Two horses ride past with skiers being pulled behind them. One of the skiers waves. One horse rides across with two skiers behind it.
