    Various shots of the football match. Lodetti gets the ball and clears up field. The ball goes to Rivera. He takes it down middle beating three Scottish players and passes forward to another player who loses control and the ball goes out of play. M/S as the ball comes in from corner. It's headed towards goal, but a Scottish defender heads off the line and ball goes up field. There is general play in the middle until Scottish defender clears up field. The ball comes into the middle Alan Gilzean heads it but it goes wide. M/S Italy attacking. Mazzola shoots, Brown dives and punches clear. M/S Scotland attacking on the right wing. Various shots Henderson with the ball. Negri runs out and gets his hands to the ball, drops it but runs round and collects easily. Various shots of Regimental Band at half time.

    M/S as Italy attack in second half. Various shots of match, Brown dives and saves goal. He gets up and limps to the edge of the box to throw the ball out owing to leg injury he received in first half. Various shots of the match. Ball passes to John Greig and McKinnen. L/S Scotland attacking down the middle. M/S as the ball goes to Greig who shoots and scores. L/S crowd cheering madly. M/S press photographers cheering and clapping. M/S Scottish team mates crowding round Greig.

    The game was played on 9 November 1965.

    "Lodetti" is Giovanni Lodetti.

    "Rivera" is Gianni Rivera.

    "Mazzola" is Alessandro Mazzola.

    "Brown" is Bill Brown.

    "Henderson" is Willie Henderson.

    "Negri" is Willam Negri.

    "McKinnen" should read McKinnon, (Ronnie McKinnon).
