Miguel Gonzalez receives the ball and pushes it back but Scotland intercepts the pass and the ball goes into the Spanish half. SV. Antonio Ramallets in his goal waiting. LV. The ball is chipped to Jackie Mudie who shoots. A lovely save by Ramallets, he picks himself up and clears up field. CU. Man in crowd wearing paper hat. SV. Ramallets waiting in goal. GV. Ball going into the Spanish goal area where Sammy Baird tries to flick it past the goal keeper but he pushes it on to the upright and the ball goes loose. LV. Garay and a Scottish player go for it near the goal. Scottish player wins the tussle and shoots from an acute angle but Ramallets pushes it round side for a corner. CU. Smiling children in crowd. GV. Corner is taken from the right wing. Lovely header from Mudie smacks against the crossbar and comes out and Mudie crashes home the rebound - Scotland are one up. GV. Cheering crowd. GV. Suarez running with the ball pushes it through where Ladislao Kubala guides it past goalkeeper Tom Younger. Score 1 - 1. CU. Not too happy looking supporters. GV. Tommy Ring with the ball trying to get through, beats his man and he beats Fernando Olivella. SV. Towards, Ring coming in with the ball beats another man and sends a beauty into the goal mouth but it is taken brilliantly by Ramallets. CU. Child in crowd. SV. Ring again with the ball, he beats Olivella but is pulled down and Scotland appeal for a penalty. GV. Referee stands on the spot and signals a penalty. CU. People in crowd smiling. SV. A Scotsman prepares to take penalty, he kicks and scores. GV. Cheering crowd at half time. GV. Gento running with the ball, he cuts inside to beat McColl and he fools Sammy Baird.

Jose Zarraga takes over the ball and pushes it through the middle where Gonzalez edges it on to Di Stefano who back heels a lovely ball to the on running Gonzalez who runs on and shoots. Younger can only parry it and Suarez is there to slam it home. Score 2 - 2. CU. People in crowd smiling. GV. Scotland on the move, Mudie out to Bobby Collins, Collins back to Mudie just inside the Spanish penalty area and Mudie rams it home. Scotland 3, Spain 2. SV. Cheering crowd. SV. Gento on the move with the ball. He tricks McColl and starts to cut inside, he beats Sammy Baird and pushes it inside but Scotland defender comes away with the ball. GV. Scotland defender comes away with the ball. GV. In the Spanish goal area, Collins pushes it across and Mudie taps it home from about 5 yards. Final score - Scotland 4, Spain 2.
