    Saigon Revolt - fighting between Bin Xuyen troops and National Army troops, Vietnam.

    Boulevard Gallieni in Saigon, a few days before battle began. Boulevard Gallieni before battle began. Bin Xuyen troops holding their positions along the Canal and patrolling the streets.

    Beginning of the battle on Boulevard Gallieni: National Army machine gun war patrolling in town, and crowd running away from fire. Paratroopers alighting from trucks bringing them on the battle spot. Children get killed or lost. Burning houses. Wounded evacuated to hospital.

    Night shots of burning houses. French troops acting as goodwill committee, taking positions in European sector of Saigon, to protect French residents.

    Date on dope sheet is 03/05/1955.
