St Helens beats Halifax 13-2 in a Rugby League Cup Final at Wembley.

GV. Crowd (title super over). Start of the Rugby League Cup Final between Halifax and St. Helens. GV. Halifax kicking off from right to left. Halifax are in the hooped jerseys. A St. Helens' player receives the ball from the kick off and starts to run forward as players gather round. SCU. Group of players on both sides standing round fallen player. Fallen player is Rhodes. Rhodes starts to get up and kicks the ball back to a team mate. Team mate is McIntyre. McIntyre passes the ball back to Vince Karalius who tries to get through but Keilty grabs him and brings him down. CU. People watching. GV. Halifax attacking. Halifax player with the ball trying to get through, but he pulls down. He gets up and flicks the ball back to a colleague who passes it to L. M. Lynch who receives. Lynch passes to Palmer who receives, but he is grabbed round the legs and brought down. CU. Small boy having hat pushed over his eyes. SV. Halifax with the ball. Wilkinson running with it. He passes back to Henderson who runs on and escapes a tackle by McIntyre. He runs on pursued by Parsons, Robinson and Carlton, who grabs him round the neck and brings him down. The ball goes loose and Parsons grabs it but Daniel rushes in and wrestles with Parsons to pull him down. GV. Crowd.

SCU. Scrum. The ball comes out to a St. Helens player who starts to run with it, and passes to Karalius who runs in to two Halifax men but manages before falling over to pass the ball to Carlton, but Carlton is tackled. CU. Small boy looking through binoculars. LV. of Prescott running being pursued by Halifax player, he is brought down while trying to pass. CU. Spectators. SV. Scrum down St. Helens come out with the ball and pass the ball out of frame. SCU. Kids jumping for joy. LV. Carlton running with ball hotly pursued by Halifax players. He touches down. LV. Rhodes kicks and the ball goes just inside the post. Score: St. Helens 5 - Halifax 0. GV. Crowd. LV. Finnan receives the ball and passes Parsons who passes to Rhodes, who runs on and passes to Silcock. Silcock passes to Greenall who receives and runs on and just as he is about to be tackled he passes to Stephen Llewellyn who runs on and touches down. SCU. Cheering people. LV. Rhodes kicks ball between posts. Score: 10 - 0. SV. Waving crowds. LV. Rhodes with the ball is tackled by Daniels, but throws Daniels to the ground and runs on but Daniels recovers and grabs Rhodes round the waist and pulls him down as he passes to Carlton, but two men including Fearnley pounce on Carlton. CU. Boy puts his hand to his face. LV. Halifax kicking penalty. Griffiths kicks the ball and it goes between the posts. Score: 10-2. SV. Crowd cheering. LV. Karalius with the ball breaking through. Two men grab him and he gives the ball to Prescott who has come quite close to him and he starts to run towards the line. SV. Prescott coming towards us with the ball, and he crashes it down just as he is tackled. Score: 13-2. GV. Crowd. GV. St Helens player coming down the Wembley steps with the trophy. MS. Group of young boys watching. MS. St Helens skipper Prescott is hoisted up clutching trophy. WS. Crowd jumping and cheering. LS. Prescott with trophy.
