Elizabeth inspecting guard of honour of Sherwood Forresters and ex-servicemen. Pan from Princess, past Mayor to Duke walking up to soldier and speaking to him. Royal party walking across Square. Various shots of the royal party walking round Nottingham Trade Fair held in a large tent or marquee (light poor). Elizabeth and Philip walking with Mayor and Mayoress across the Square to the Council House. Elizabeth chatting to ex-servicemen. L/S of the procession, headed by mace bearer, followed by Princess and Mayor, walking to the Council House. The Princess and Duke driving off in an open car through crowds.
