    Aerial shots of aircraft carrier HMS Eagle at sea. On the deck Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles shake hands with naval officers. Escorting the royal pair are bearded Vice-Admiral CLG Evans (Flag Officer Aircraft Carriers) and Captain John Byng Frewen of the Eagle. Pan along line of officers. Prince Charles shakes hands with an officer, and then he and the Queen walk away.

    Various shots of the Queen and Prince Charles inside specially built glass observation platform overlooking the flight deck, watching preparations for aircraft launching. L/S of a Seahawk taxiing towards the catapult for launching. Air shot of helicopter hovering off port bow of the carrier as a Seahawk waits to be launched. L/S as Seahawk is launched.     The royal party are seen on lift descending from the flight deck. Interior shots show the Queen and Prince Charles watching the rum ration being served. Air shot round the bows of HMS Eagle as she steams towards and in line behind her come the two escorting ships.
