M/S aircraft fly past in formation - ground to air shots of planes, including one banking and turning with a smoke trail specially for the display. Intertitle reads: " Who could have foreseen 20 years ago, that giant machines would 'take the sky' as easily by night - as by day? " Night shots of the aircraft moving away from the hangar. The crew get in and the plane taxis away. The biplane can just about be seen in the search light as it takes off. C/U shot of the search light , followed by air to air shots of the dark sky - blackness with just two lights visible, fixed to the wings of the plane. The plane lands and is seen again in the search light.
