    Sydney, Australia.

Various shots of Australian skipper, Bradford Potter, with his son and three friends, preparing their ketch, 'Fram' (Fran?) for a trip around the world. Nice shot of one of the men saying goodbye to a pretty blonde girl. Bradford makes a short speech, saying they're trying to get away from it all. A crowd of people see them off on their voyage. Several shots of the sail boat moving off towards sea; the men wave goodbye.

Hi, the gentleman in this video is my grandfather Bradford Potter. His boat was called the FRAM, after Roald Amundsen\'s polar exploring ship.

    Hi Nick

We are related; I am sole surviving British Potter and met your grandfather Brad and grandmother Beth in 1972 when they visited my family - I believe Brad and my father were cousins. I am currently putting together a family tree (very close to completion) and would like to share it with you, if you are interested. (I am sadly not in touch with any of my Australian relatives) My email is brycejcpotter@gmail.com

I hope to hear from you

    Bryce
