    Various shots of the race and of spectators. An intertitle proclaims: "Of all places in the world, this is really where East really does meet West - !" Shots follow of colonial type in pitch helmet watching the horse race, then local men wearing turbans doing same. More shots of the race and of spectators in traditional dress.

    There is no commentary on this film, just natural sound.

    Note: title suggests that The Empress of Britain was the ship on which this trip was undertaken - we don't see the ship.
