Unused / unissued material - no paperwork - dates unclear or unknown.

    American voiceover.

Title reads: "Rioting Menaces Recovery" (T/C obscures company name)

Toledo, Ohio, United States of America.

Pan along damaged factory building. Damage caused by rioting strikers. CU broken glass in windows. Soldiers / guardsmen stand guard outside damaged buildings. Overturned cars in the streets. A motorised street cleaner clears up debris.

Another riot sparks off. Guardsmen run forward with batons and throwing tear gas canisters. Strikers reply with stones. Good shots of clashes between troopers and strikers.

N.B. The voiceover suggests that the strike is over conditions and trades union recognition. It expresses fears that strikes can lead to problems in America's recovery.
