Uganda, Africa? The landscape footage may be of Africa, the rest could be anywhere as looks like a studio and a zoo.

Various shots of trees against the sky. C/U of some leaves (this looks like a studio shot). Extreme C/U reveals a frog crouching between the leaves. Closer shot of the frog. L/S of the frog. Hand enters shot and strokes the frog, moving it to a different position. L/S of a branch. Closer shot reveals a chameleon. C/U of the chameleon. M/S of the branch as hand moves in and prods the chameleon to make it move. L/S of group of plants. A lizard is perched on one of the plants. C/U of the lizard. Hand enters the picture and picks up and moves the lizard. C/U of a terrapin. Extreme C/U of his head. M/S of a brightly coloured snake - orange, black and white stripes.

C/U of a bird - possibly a toucan or similar. The bird turns to the side - rather handsome for a bird. C/U of the bird as he opens his beak. Another bird is seen - not recognised, brightly coloured plumage. Another bird sits on a perch - a rather ugly specimen to my mind. Various shots of the bird's claws. Another bird - pink and black feathers. M/S of a different toucan-like bird. Various shots of the birds as they move around on their perches. A black bird with an orange beak. A bird with a very long white tail - this one is in a cage. Various shots of hummingbirds (? I think). The birds hover beside a small bottle of liquid, putting their beaks inside. M/S of a man in what looks like a zookeeper's uniform walking into a plant filled scene. C/U of the man as he hangs a bottle of liquid on a branch. C/U of a bird perched on a branch. C/U of the bird hovering beside the bottle sucking the liquid out.

Note: see CP 015 "Humming Birds".

Uganda, Africa? Aerial shots, rocky coastline seen from an aircraft. Various shots of rough rivers, choppy sea, rocks, waterfall, fast flowing river etc. Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Park.

M/S showing local man fishing in a lake. C/U of the man - he wears a comb in his hair. Moving shot from a boat of hippos in water. M/S of two local women walking with baskets on their heads. One woman carries a baby strapped to her back. M/S of two hippos climbing out of the water. Low angle shot of two other local women walking with large baskets on their heads. M/S of two hippos moving away from the water. They walk away from the camera. L/Ss of a group of elephants standing in amongst some trees. L/S of elephant walking through landscape. L/S of group of elephants (one big one and three babies?) walking though a field and across a road. L/S of elephants. L/S of water buffalo (or similar?) Moving shots of the water buffalo as they run along. L/S of an elephant. L/S of water buffalo. L/S of group of Water Buck antelopes, closer view of some of the Water Buck. L/S of hyena. M/S of Uganda Kobs (?). L/S of Marabou Stork. High angle shot of fast flowing river.

Note: some of the material in this film seems to be a duplicate of another story - CP 005 "Wild Animals". Alternative spelling for search purposes - Murchiston Falls.

Please note this is a Special Version (CP 003 Sp'l).

See separate explanation record CP 001: 'International Pictorials'.
