    Item title reads - Record flight in British 'plane. Mr Alan Cobham, who has piloted Sir Sefton Brancker, on his 17,000 mile aerial survey to India and back returns. Croydon, Surrey.

C/U of Sir Sefton wearing a monocle and talking to the crowd. M/S of Alan and his wife stood together, he gives her a kiss and they walk off. C/U of Alan on his own.

    M/S of the aeroplane taxiing past the camera, there are more shots as Alan is congratulated, he unzips his jacket and takes his flying hat and goggles off. L/S of the crowd around him. M/S of Alan and Sir Sefton with the other man. C/U of Alan kissing his wife, M/S of him in the aeroplane. L/S of the aeroplane flying and coming into land. More shots as they shake hands and get out. M/S of them posing again. Alan takes off his flying gear and straightens himself up. M/S of him talking to another man. C/U of Alan being helped out of his flying outfit, C/U of his face. M/S of Sir Sefton talking to others and shaking hands. C/U of Sir Sefton, the camera pans across to Alan. A man, woman and dog walk across the airfield as the aeroplane comes into land, Alan jumps out and gives his wife a kiss. M/S of the two chatting, L/S of the crowd round him as he shakes hands.
