  • The first man mentioned is Second Lieutenant William Allison White. The second man mentioned is Jack White.

    Details of the actions for which they were each awarded a Victoria Cross can be found here.....

    These two Victoria Crosses were achieved in 1917 and late 1918 respectively. As both men are featured n the same piece, the film can only have originated in 1918, possibly early 1919. This might help you narrow down the piece's current date range.
