SV Two Captains at the toss-up, Hibernian's Captain tosses up and the two football teams change ends. LV Crowd shot. GV Hibs kick off, they have coloured sleeves. Ball is cleared in Glasgow Rangers half. LV Aitken of Hibs dribbling ball in near the rangers goal area, he shoots and ball goes just wide of the net. CU Girl cheering. LV Aitken again with ball, he crosses it in front of Rangers goal area, he shoots and ball goes wide of net. CU Girl cheering. LV Aitken again with ball, he crosses it in front of the Rangers goal and goalie Ritchie starts to come out. SV Ritchie punches clear and a bunch of players fall to the ground, Aitken comes in with ball but loses it to Baird of Rangers who clears towards Hibs half. LV Ball dropping, it is headed towards Hibs goal by Wilson of Rangers. SV Rangers player shoots outside Hibs penalty area and ball hits goal post and rebounds. CU Man in crowd gasping. SV Rangers still attacking, ball is crossed in front of Hibs goal and is then headed about. LV Sammy Baird of Rangers shoots. SV Ball travelling towards Hibs goal, Goalie Leslie saves magnificently, punching it away. CU Fan in crowd. SV. Hibs carrying attack up to Rangers half. LV Aitken with ball dribbling towards Rangers goal, he beats Baird of Rangers, shoots and ball goes over the bar. CU Man in crowd gasping. GV Crowd at half time. GV Rangers taking a free kick, ball is crossed in front of Hibs goal and goes to Preston of Hibs who beats Bob Shearer and clears towards Rangers half. SV Hibs player nearing Rangers goal with ball, he shoots, it rebounds off and goes to Fraser of Hibs who shoots and scores Hibs second goal. GV Cheering crowds. SV Hibs still attacking, one of their men shoots at goal and William Ritchie saves brilliantly, then clears towards Hibs half. LV Rangers attacking, Ian McColl with ball shoots and Goalie Leslie dives. CU Two girls in crowd. GV Baird taking Rangers penalty and scoring Rangers only goal. GV Cheering crowd. GV Hibs player clearing down Rangers half. CU Father and son. SV Hibs player taking corner, ball comes across and goalie Ritchie catches it but it slips from his hands and Hibs player shoots just wide of the goal. (Neg.)
