    Netharavon, Wiltshire.

Very obedient dogs demonstrate tricks and stunts they've learnt at the R.A.F. Police Dog Training School .

Various shots of Alsatians doing an obstacle course - the dogs jump over a fence, through a hoop of fire, through a tunnel, before bursting though a paper screen. Low angle shot of the Alsatians and their masters - the men march, the dogs walk to heel.

M/S of an Alsatian climbing up a narrow ramp. Low angle shot of the dog walking over a tightrope. M/S of two officers, one with a clip board, watching the stunt. The dog gingerly walks down the steep ramp at the other side.

Various shots of two dogs completing the obstacle course. The dogs leave from different ends and have to pass each other in the tunnel. Various shots of an Alsatian scrambling over a wall. Low angle shot of two dogs passing each other on a steep double sided ramp.

C/U of a man placing a raw egg in a dog's mouth. C/U of a high ranking officer. The dog has to walk over the tightrope without breaking the egg in it's mouth. The observing officers appear to be marking the dog's performance. The dog's trainer cracks open the egg and feeds it to the dog as a reward. L/S of a battalion of dog trainers marching with their animals.

According to the narrator, all the stories in this issue were also supposedly filmed at the 1962 Royal Tournament - this is confusing as paperwork suggest they were filmed at different locations...

(I think the idea is that this is Pathe's version of an outdoor Royal Tournament, with contributions from around the country - SL.) There is much documentation on file. Cuts exist - see separate record.
