    Various shots of Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) touring bomb sites with King George VI. They chat with crowds of people in street, a local Lord Mayor and Civil Defence Workers, ARP (Air Raid Precautions) wardens and AFS (Auxiliary Fire Service) firemen.

    We see King and Queen arriving by train at large station, dignitaries wait on platform to greet them.

    More shots of King and Queen visiting badly bombed areas in cities and chatting with people. Good shot of ragged Union Jack flag hanging in window of bombed building.

    Note: item may be cuts (rushes, out takes) from 1941 Gazette story ROYAL TOUR OF BOMBED AREAS in 41/15 (on tape *PM1101*, film id 1101.07).
