    Queen Alexandra's Rose Day. Possibly London.

    Shots of Queen A.'s coach driving through the streets in procession; more coaches- -possibly other royalty. Guards ride horses in procession. Men running up to cars jumping on the running boards; or standing in street waving for cars to stop; and generally acting like clowns; then the men along w/ a group of women; try to sell roses to occupants of the automobiles. Shots of the women volunteers wearing baskets of roses hanging from their necks; and roses decorating their hats as well. The roses are sold to make money for hospitals. Fundraising; assistance; charity.

    The date range of this clip featuring Queen Alexandra can be reduced to 1920-25, the Queen having died in that year.
