Paper records and leader state that this film features a Gordon Bennett Road Race of 1903 - presumably in France.
Begins with shot of two racing cars speeding around a track. The title looks more modern (Late 1920s or early 1930s?) so is probably a reissue. The location looks like Brooklands. Various shots of the race, then another race with much older cars - early 1900s. This is presumably the Gordon Bennett race.
Various shots of cars speeding round a corner at a racetrack or at a road race. The winning car slows to a stop and the co-driver takes something from the back of the car and throws it on the road, he then fills the petrol tank from a can (?) L/S of car approaching down a dusty road. Another car zooms past the camera. M/S of crowd watching the race as a car passes under a bridge. The bridge has a spectator's stand built on top of it. L/S of two cars speeding down the dusty road then reverse shot of them going under the bridge.
Note: Leader states "UN6G" so this is probably a duplicate of that story or a misfiled item - to be checked. Doesn't look like an Eve's Film Review or Pathe Pictorial item.
