    Wellington, New Zealand.

    Intertitle: "WELLINGTON'S WONDERFUL WELCOME. Whole City turns out to greet the Prince".

    Panning L/S of a large crowd, all furiously waving Union Jacks, congregated in a large square in Wellington. M/S of Prince Edward walking on to a platform surrounded by the crowd. He is dressed in military uniform and salutes to the several officers already on the stage. Good panning M/S over a section of the crowd waving flags, in the foreground is a brass band. M/S of a line of elderly gentlemen walking onto the stage to shake hands with the Prince. V. Good shot of the Prince as he shakes hands.

    M/S of Maori dancers, they move and we see the Prince and his entourage walking towards the camera, it rains heavily. The Prince is talking to a Maori chief. C/U of the Prince sitting on a fur covered chair in front of a Union Jack. M/S Maori warriors dancing a war dance ( like the 'All Blacks' dance ). Various shots of Maori women dancing, a couple of the women hold large Union Jack flags. The women with the flags process up the stairs of a large straw hut and present them to the Prince, in the foreground is a large crowd. M/S of the Prince giving a speech. M/S of a re-enactment of a Maori battle.
