Soundtrack for this issue is currently missing.

    London.

Brief shots of a racing car zooming around a track; brief shots of Prince Birabongse of Siam in the car beside the track.

We then see several shots of the Prince arriving at a registry office (?) in London with his brother and best man; he is followed inside by Miss Ceril Heycock. A small crowd is gathered outside. The couple come out of the building and pose briefly for the cameras before fighting their way to their car, assisted by some policemen.

  1. roycousins says

Prince Bira and Ceril Heycock married on the 12th January 1938 at the Siamese Legation in Kensington (23 Ashburn Place, as seen in the clip).

The "best man" (if there is such a thing at a Buddhist ceremony) was Bira's cousin and mentor, Prince Chula.

The racing car at the beginning of the clip is a 1934 Maserati 8CM, bought from Whitney Straight for Bira by Chula in 1936.
