President Wilson in London 1918. London.

Shot of procession in London: Soldiers marching on street (approaching) with Union Jack and USA flags hung above. C/U of people getting out of car. Same street with car on it. C/U procession turning in street toward camera: guards on horseback; and also 4 horses pulling an open coach. They stop; Wilson; a woman; and another man descend. (Unfortunately it is so dark they can barely be identified). No doubt Wilson was promoting the League of Nations.

L/S of soldiers marching along street. Flags fly above them. M/S of President Wilson getting out of car. Car coming down street. A group of soldiers stand to the left. Various shots of the Shots of horse and carriage pulling, several dignitaries climb out (presumably including President Wilson.

    Heads of state; international diplomacy.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
