    L/S as President Gaston Doumerge makes his way over to two soldiers holding the Colours, another stands behind and the rest of the Guards stand around the square. C/U of him pinning the medal on the Colours and kissing them. Various shots of the Guards parading past him in the square.

    The above story is then repeated again with extra section which follows.

    The President stands and takes the salute then walks off. L/S as he inspects a line of Guards. He then walks down a line of mounted Guards, various shots. M/S of him pinning the medals on the Colours. Various shots as the Guards parade through the square. M/S of the two Guards holding the Colours. Various shots of the President, he makes a speech then walks forwards and kisses the Colours. Various shots as he talks to another man.
