    Malbork Castle, Poland.

    British sailors from H.M.S. Glasgow are making their first courtesy visit to Poland since the war. L/S of them walking in the grounds of the castle. Various shots of them exploring the colonnades and courtyards of the castle. Various C/Us of architectural details and C/U of one of the young sailors admiring the views. Over L/Ss of the castle the narrator states: "Today it stands battle scarred but unbroken - a triumph of man's creative genius over the powers of destruction."
