    Imber Court, Surrey.

Various shots of horses being trained at the Metropolitan Police Horse training centre; horses being led round in circles and over bridges; a horse is saddled and mounted by a man. Nice M/S of a famous horse called Winston looking out of a stable door; he carried royalty in the ceremony of the Trooping of the Colour for many years.

Several horses are ridden by policemen through a kind of obstacle course, with balloons flying and men waving rattles, bells and flags to simulate the kind of occasion the horses will find themselves in. Horses carrying policemen are seen pushing against a group of dummy policemen, then a line of real plain clothes men. Pistols are fired in front of the horses, then they are ridden past small burning haystacks.

Note: there are notes on file on the footage shot and the police horse training process.
