Tommy & Reta Fairclough were my Uncle and Aunt, and were also two of my Godparents. Reta (nee Cookson) was one of my father's sisters. It was quite wonderful, seeing them in this news clip, and also seeing footage of my dear cousin Peter (their son) and his wife June. June and Peter were married around about the time of my birth (in December 1954), and I recall Peter showing me a letter from my Dad, apologising for not being able to attend their wedding (owing to my imminent arrival!), and referring to "Baby" - at the time of writing the letter, I had not been named!
