Pictorial Revue of 1943 - Reel 3. (Compilation of turns from the Pathe cinemagazines.)
(Continued.)
C/U of album page reading 'Lavanda'. Commentator introduces "a lady novelty juggler". Fade into shot of Lavanda (aka Levanda) in shorts and white top, walking onto set and lying down on her back to juggle a large ball with her legs. She then moves on to a large playing card. (This is duplicate of item in Turns Can 5; see separate record for details. It is probably the missing section from PSP 848.)
C/U of album page reading: 'Tommy Handley'. Fade into shot of comedian Tommy dressed in hiking gear on a set dressed as 'The Dew Drop Inn'. He performs a comic monologue. (This is duplicate of item in Turns Can 23 - see separate record for details. This is the missing item from PSP 903.)
C/U of album page reading: 'Leslie Hutchinson ('Hutch')'. Fade into shot of pianist / singer Hutch sitting at a grand piano on a set dressed to look like a drawing room. He wears white tie and tails and sings a haunting ballad. Could be called 'If It's The Last Thing I Do'. (This is probably the missing item from NSP 145, the paperwork for which lists the song as 'Two Sinners' - I don't think that is the name of the song here.)
