Title: "PERSEVERANCE REWARDED - M. Pescarra - poineer [sic] of vertical flight - undaunted by years of failure, puts up remarkable performance in his unique Helicopter".

M/S of a strange helicopter-like contraption with four sets of rotary blades. The contraption makes a tentative take off, hovering and wobbling a couple of metres over the ground. A man - Raúl Pateras Pescara de Castelluccio ("Pescarra" on title card) - pilots in from an open cockpit, other men run about on the ground watching the new invention in flight.

Note: the word - pioneer - is misspelt in the original title card. AH 2000.

Despite the title card, "Pescarra" should read Pescara. The man's full name was Raúl Pateras Pescara de Castelluccio.

    Thanks - that's quite a name!
