"A distressing Day at the Zoo" This intertitle is superimposed over a still picture of a chimpanzee. The letter "d" moves around to change the word "distressing" into "disdressing". Peewee walks down a street. He is a kind of big fat toddler wearing a dress which sticks out. A dog sits down under Peewee's dress. Peewee falls over and the dog howls. Peewee pulls the dog's tail. Peewee walks along with the dog following. C/U of a sign "No Dogs Admitted". A child walks past towing a crocodile on a trolley. Peewee grabs the sign and with the help of the dog who pulls on Peewee's dress with his mouth, they pull the sign off the wall. The dog sits on the sign and Peewee pulls him along. They go into the zoo. A zoo keeper stands in their way. Peewee walks through his legs.
The zoo keeper walks past a kangaroo. The roo stands up to reveal that Peewee and the dog are hiding in its pouch. Peewee walks over to an ostrich who is sitting on eggs. Peewee gestures at the ostrich and it gets up off the eggs and runs off. Peewee sits on the eggs. Suddenly they hatch. Little baby ostriches run along the ground. Peewee gets into a cage and pulls on a tail. We see that the tail is attached to a lion. Peewee rotates the tail and a baby lion comes and skips over it. A zoo keeper comes and spoils the fun. Peewee gets bitten on the bottom by a baby crocodile! The croc hangs on to Peewee's dress as he tries to run away. The dog starts running too and runs underneath an elephant. He then jumps up and grabs hold of a giraffe's leg. The giraffe walks off with the dog attached. A baby giraffe follows, then Peewee and the croc. Peewee runs along screaming. The croc pulls Peewee's dress off. A group of chimpanzees do a little dance in a circle around Peewee. Another chimp opens a door and a big bear runs out followed by little baby bears. The bear runs after Peewee.
Peewee runs along the top of some rocks with the big Bear and little Bears following behind. When he gets to the edge of a cliff he falls to the ground and the Bears all jump over him and fall off the cliff. Peewee thinks this is really funny. He lies on the rock laughing then a baby bear comes along, bites him on the bottom and rips his pants off!
Peewee stands up, looking dismayed that he is exposed in just his nappy! He sits down, folds his arms and looks cross. His dog comes up and sits beside him, snuggling up. A hand comes into shot and grabs him. M/S of the zoo's exit sign. Peewee and his dog are escorted off the premises. "The End" title has a photograph of a chimpanzee on it.
Note: Peewee is the ugliest most revolting baby I have ever seen! Crazy film!
