In the pretty town of Hol (sp?) we see various shots of the locals doing traditional figure dancing on a green while musicians play. They all wear traditional costume. A small group of people watch.
In Upper Austria we see men at work in a granite quarry, preparing a bed of timber. A huge block of granite that has been split from the quarry wall is pulled onto the timber bed below without breaking. Shots of stonemasons shaping the block into a pillar for a Siamese temple 9,000 miles away.
