    Bristol, Avon.

A jokey story about students from British Universities who have a marathon pedal-car race to raise money for charity.

Top shot of the bonnet of a snazzy pedal-car with a "Rallye Monte Carlo" badge on. M/S of the driver of the snazzy car talking to a friend as he puts his helmet on. M/S of drivers piling up their race equipment, C/U of a water bottle and a sleeping bag next to a radio.

M/S of pedal-cars lined up, their drivers look expectant, an official waves a Union Jack to start the race. Various shots of the race - the narrator sarcastically remarks that this beat Le Mans! Some of the drivers try to barge other cars off the track. Various shots of cars of different shapes, sizes and speeds racing. M/S of a car changing drivers in the pit stop - each car has a team of six drivers. More shots of the race and cars changing drivers. C/U of team members reading in the pit stop, in-between turns behind the wheel. More shots of the race. M/S of two girls in the officials' shelter keeping race times. Panning shot follows car number thirteen as it threads through the cars. M/S of the finishing line as car number 84 speeds past the crowds to win the race.
