  • I fact I believe that this colour title opening of the newsreel was introduced around the 1960s for colour editions of the newsreel. the black and white version being similar was introduced around 1953/54.for widescreen, beginning with Associated British Pathe Present zooming towards you and upon the cockeral crowing in centre of laurel wreath then fading into Pathe News with the laurel Wreath still in background.

  • your above description for the colour title is incorrect, YOUR description title refers to the early 1950 black and white intro.
