M/S of Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong Jones walking up the aisle after their wedding at Westminster Abbey. L/S of the Royal Yacht Britannia going under Tower Bridge, taking the Royal couple on their honeymoon. Mix through into L/S of Britannia aeroplane taking off as commentator tells us the plane transported the Pathe cameras halfway across the world to capture the highlights of the Royal trip.

Mix through into L/S panning right of the English harbour on the island of Antigua; some sailing boats are seen at the dock before the small town. Various M/Ss of the harbour as commentator talks of the history of the island, and how it is associated with famous sailors; Nelson had his headquarters there and the island was discovered by Christopher Columbus. Various M/Ss of the beautiful, sometimes rocky coastline taken from a moving boat; lovely golden beaches lined with palm trees; turquoise sea lapping at the shore - this is where I want to be! Glorious M/S on a sandy beach; C/U of the shadow of a palm tree on the beach with some fallen fruit lying on the sand.

M/S of some men pulling a small fishing boat on the sand at a different beach; a woman throws bits of wood to them which they place on the sand and pull the boat over to beach it; there is a nice calypso-style piece of music on the soundtrack. C/U of one of the men looking on; C/U of fish being weighed on a scale on the boat. Gorgeous M/S of a sandy beach covered with palm trees, blowing in the breeze.

Mix through into M/S of Britannia aeroplane landing at Trinidad airport; M/Ss of the plane taxiing as a ground control man with paddles guides it in; the air traffic control tower with a large sign reading 'Welcome / Port Trinidad', a Union Jack flag flying, and what I assume is the Trinidad flag from before Trinidad and Tobago became independent in 1962.

Various nice airport arrival shots of the plane coming to a halt; a customs official signing a form on a pile of luggage; the stairway being put in position at the plane door; passengers coming down the stairs from the plane and walking across the tarmac in summer clothes. Commentator says "It's an encouraging thought that cheaper air fares are now bringing this English possession within the compass of even English tourists!"

M/S panning right of palm trees and other tropical plants and vegetation in Trinidad; C/U tilting up of bamboo canes; lovely M/S of palm trees with the coast seen in the background, in centre foreground are two stems of a pink orchid; C/Us of the orchids. C/Us of a small yellow butterfly resting on the golden flower of a prickly cactus; a Hibiscus; butterfly, wasp, torch orchids; Khana lilies and various other tropical plants and flowers.

M/S of two men in colourful shirts with frilly sleeves and three women in red and gold tiered tops and skirts who are limbo-dancing and playing bongos in a garden. Commentator talks of how the dance has already made it's rhythmic impact in England, and the dance troupe, who greatly impressed the Royal honeymooners, dance under the pole - one of the men takes the pole extremely low!

L/S of Government House, with gardens and a fountain in the foreground; M/S of the gardens. L/Ss of the island taken from an aeroplane - the inter-island air ferry between Trinidad and Tobago - showing the rocky coastline and sandy beaches. M/Ss of the plane landing at Tobago airport.

Commentator tells us Tobago (Trinidad and Tobago) was immortalised as the Robinson Crusoe island, as we see a beautiful sandy beach, with palm trees bending down to the water's edge and a palm grove by the shore. M/S of the beach house, possibly the one that the Royals stayed at. M/Ss of the beach showing the length of it, and the sea glistening in the sunshine. M/S of the jetty belonging to the beach house, panning right to show a tiny beach beside it - the sea is so clear!

L/Ss of pelicans and other birds resting and taking off from a sand bank in the water. M/Ss of people snorkelling and swimming in the sea; a young girl (could be Gaye / Gay Ashwood) adjusting her goggles and swimming under water. Underwater C/U of some medium-sized fish swimming and congregating round a rock; C/U of the clear water.

L/S showing a lovely bay with shady palm trees at the edges; people bathing in the sea and a boat moored a little way out. Gorgeous L/S of the opposite side of the bay at sunset (or sunrise), with some palm fronds hanging at the top of the shot. Commentator says "Let's hope the time is not far away when many of us will take the same path....... of a Princess and her husband."

Beautiful beach shots - I want to go there now!

Note: print is quite badly scratched. This story was originally to be released in November, but was held back until the end of December, presumably as a Christmas holiday special.
