BALD BALL - Absolutely fantastic footage of men having wigs fitted. There is a whole shelf of wigs with a sign reading "Swinging London Hair Styles". I think that it is our old friend Leonard Pountney who is fitting the wigs. An Asian man who is totally bald has a fabulous black wig fitted. Another man pulls amused faces in the mirror after he has had a wig fitted. Various men look very pleased with their new wigs. A bald man has his head polished! A bald head is used as a rest for a piece of paper. A note is jotted down on it. Funny shots of two women perching on a bar, one of them slaps a bald man on the head. Men and their wives enter a night club. As they enter a man inspects their bald heads. They can only come in if they are balding! Totally bald man gets an appreciative pat on the head. Leonard Pountney invites bald men to get transformed - he is trying to promote his wig business. Inside the club (which has totally fabulous decor - a painted scenic mural and great plastic lampshades) - baldies and their wives have a drink.
HOT STUFF - Thermos flasks on a conveyor belt. Great shots - almost surreal quality to the film. Woman seen using one of the flasks. Women seen at work at the conveyor belt. Great thermos flasks with fish on the side - I want one. More shots of the flasks being made.
