Cuts (rushes, out takes) for story featured in Colour Pictorial - CP 725. The original story is also on Pathe Master tape *PM0469*.

Three reels of cuts exist for this story so well worth checking for extra material. Cuts total almost 40 minutes.

This reel of cuts has extra footage of the scene from "Battle of Britain" film being shot. Good footage of the crew standing around discussing the shot as an aircraft burns. We may see the director Guy Hamilton and cameraman Frederick A.Young aka Freddie Young. We don't see any of the stars though. Good shot of cameraman inside cockpit of helicopter with large camera. Helicopter takes off. Various shots of planes - two Hurricanes and a Spitfires - and of helicopters. Shot from the ground of cameraman in helicopter.

Material relating to mock battle in Wiltshire involving the RAF regiment. Similar footage to cut story.

More footage of the feature film being made.

Few shots of the Queen's Colours Regiment on parade.

Footage of the "scramble" by Strike Command's air defence squadron. Footage of the men playing cards before the alert is given. Footage of the men rushing to their aircraft and climbing aboard.

Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Men are inspected.

Air to air shots of Lightning aircraft.
