Cuts for story IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF SHERLOCK HOLMES in CP 710. Mostly similar footage to cut story about the Sherlock Holmes Society visiting Switzerland on a 'pilgrimage'. More footage in the Swiss Alps; the cable cars and mountain villages; very picturesque. High angle view of a town beside a lake - Lucerne? Children watch cows being herded from a field.
More scenic shots of Switzerland; mountains; a tractor drives through a field, spraying crops. The remainder of the cuts show the Society touring the region and being welcomed by locals. Strange L/S at the end of the cuts shows two people fighting on a mountainside; they seem to throw two dummies over the cliff - perhaps this was to illustrate the death of Holmes and Moriarty? - not a very good shot - looks like too much light in the camera.
