Cuts (rushes, out takes) for DREADNOUGHT story in Colour Pictorial - CP 688. Original story is on Pathe Master tape *PM0435*.

There are 12 mins of cuts for this story so worth checking for extra material.

Various shots of men at work aboard the submarine, mostly similar to the cut story. Some very good C/Us of the men and equipment aboard the sub. Exterior shots of submarine submerging and emerging (if that is the right term!) from the water and ploughing through the sea. Equipment being used aboard the sub. Man checking book out of the on board library. The sub's mess room with men sitting at table together and having a healthy salad for lunch. Gash ejector being used. Cans going through a crusher. An on board "tuck shop". Instrument dial. C/U of man's name badge - Seaman Harvey - various shots of him as he climbs into the radiation area.

On board cinema show. Men pour beer into glasses as they watch the show. Girlie posters on the walls. Cans of beer are opened with a can opener. Man takes a shower on board. Rum being served from a tin container, it is poured between a glass and a metal cup. The men down it with gusto.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
