Cuts for story ISLANDS IN THE SUN (aka NEW CALEDONIA - ISLANDS IN THE SUN). Similar footage to cut story showing beautiful scenery of the Pacific Islands. Several different shots show men punting and rowing along on boats on the sea; most of the boats carry strings of rushes which are laid upon the sea; local men and women stand in the water along the line and spear fish on spikes. Tourists in another boat watch this going on (this is possibly Fiji)..
Several shots show people getting onto open-backed buses in a town, possibly Noumea. Western women go into a fabric shop. Several aerial shots of the islands and coastlines; view from the aeroplane window as we land on an island. Numerous shots of coral, sea anemones and tropical fish; they seem to be in tanks. More footage of the holiday makers on the boat, as in the cut story. More footage of the native dancing and drumming.
