Cuts (out takes, rushes) for stories in Colour Pictorial - CP 673. The original stories are on Pathe Master tape *PM0431*.

Cuts for story THE BONZO DOG DOO DAH BAND (Equestrian Statue) in CP 673. Similar footage to cut story of the whole band performing this number in London's Speakeasy club and running about a park in strange costumes. More footage of the band in Georgian / 18th Century costumes, eating and enjoying their mini-banquet while a man in a black cloak (Vernon Dudley Bohay-Noel?) pretends to play an old keyboard. Great panning M/S of the band on a windy hill; they are all pointing at each other (seem to be saying "Is it you?"), then start pointing at the camera ("It's them!"); a few unidentifiable (by this cataloguer) people are also seen with the group.

M/S in the club of the female dummy (that Vivian Stanshall dances with in cut story). More footage of Legs Larry Smith 'painting' Neil Innes as the statue; both their hats blow off in the wind and they put them back on. A lengthy sequence shows Roger Ruskin Spear playing trumpet / cornet.

A few more cuts from the 'Music for Head Ballet' item with the band, including some nice C/Us of Roger Ruskin Spear, Vivian Stanshall, Neil Innes, Rodney Slater and Sam Spoons. C/Us of their feet, each one touching the foot of the person next to them, shows that each person is wearing a shoe to match the shoe of the person beside them, making a pair of matching shoes, worn by different feet.

Note: there are several stray sequences from other Colour Pics, mostly with people on horses, of the type that were intercut with Bonzo footage at the climax of the number in the cut story.
