Cuts for ARMY SHOW in CP 659. Some similar footage to cut story of the Aldershot Army display; different footage shows the gymnasts in red T-shirts and white shorts leaping over one another and bouncing into somersaults from small trampolines. Nice C/U of a soldier in camouflage gear crouching on the ground with his gun. Other army exercises / displays are briefly seen involving a helicopter landing to pick up troops; large guns being loaded. A model plane (?) stands on stilts with propellors turning; officers look at displays; a soldier stands beside a large robot (a magnetron?) and tries to get a small boy to speak into a microphone. Another soldier speaks into a mouthpiece in a dugout beside equipment. Several soldiers in camouflage gear are seen on the display ground.
Cuts for PLASTIC MEDALLIONS in CP 659. Several shots of sculptor Tom Whall making plaster moulds to use for the plastic medallions and plaques seen in the cut story. Several shots of finished plastic items. Several shots of the plastic female head being made, as in the cut story.
Cuts for WATER-SKI SHOW in CP 659. Similar footage to cut story; several water-ski and water-ski jump stunts are seen; one jump stunt is not very successful, with the jumper landing in a heap in the water. A water-skiing man starts to take off on a hang-glider and is suddenly yanked back down into the water - youch! A bevy of babes on water-skis zoom along carrying international flags. Some girls in blue costumes with floaty arm pieces wait to be pulled into action (on skis) by their boat; one girl is pulled head first into the water! Poor thing - it does look very funny though!
