Cuts for story GIBRALTAR APES in CP 488. Similar footage to that in the cut story with long sequences of the rock peak, buildings, guards on parade, a sentry, the British letterbox, with a woman posting a letter. At the peak we see the cannons and the apes, some grooming themselves. There are some good tourist shots, with a BEA aircraft on the tarmac, a quick shot at low angle of some young girls waving, and bicycles and others at the border (01:09:43 - 01:14:35).
Feet of people at the border, someone carrying planks, a donkey with a hat, border guards checking papers. In the town we see a man hosing the streets. At the beach we see people sunbathing on a concrete deck, views of the rocky coast, some young men sunbathing. Fish are weighed after a sea fishing outing (01:18:57 - 01:22:41).
