This includes some new material of soldiers on the parade ground doing various exercises and longer shots of them shooting at targets. The referee starts the match with his stopwatch there are various general shots of the match, and C/Us of the darts being prepared again. Several shots of girls on the adding machines, C/U one girl as she works. We see the soldier throwing the last dart and everyone celebrating and congratulating each other as they reach their target.
01:20:42 - 01:24:11 (c 314 feet). Cuts for story GAS GUN in CP 379. Several new shots of a man adjusting the pressure gauge. New shots of the machinery that works the gun. There are longer, more detailed shots of the steel being split by the gun. We see the man in the welding mask giving instructions and measuring the split. Also there are similar shots to those seen in the final version.
