In addition, there is some unused footage - there are several C/Us of a little girl, probably 10 year old Kathryn, the daughter of Vina Cooke, the woman making the dolls. The little girl is looking at the framed doll of the Queen. There are also further shots of dolls different to those in the finished version - amongst them are a Japanese doll and a black doll in a feather boa.

According to the paperwork, this story is about three young men training to represent Britain in the International Pentathlon Championships. High angle L/S of an outdoors shooting range. Three men in 'Great Britain' shirts walk into shot, take aim and fire repeatedly at three man shaped targets. M/S of the men taking aim, from the front. M/S of the targets as the men count the number of bullet holes. C/U of one of the men marking the bullet holes with chalk, he turns a talks to someone off camera.
