01:16:53 to 1:28:52 cuts for story CABARET GIRLS in CP 341. Some similar footage to that in cut story; Percival Murray discusses costumes on the lawn with the head designer and they examine a turban with feathered plumes. Different footage as follows: nice L/S and M/Ss of Percival and a lady (his wife?) greeting the girls as they get out of a red and white chauffer-driven car at the country house. L/S of some of the girls sitting on loungers and watching two girls playing tennis on a court in the grounds. One of the girls brings over a tray of drinks to the loungers and hands them out.
Various shots in the workroom as elderly ladies sew costumes; C/Us of a Balinese-looking head-dress being put on a mannequin head several times; the roulette table-skirt being sewn (it has panties attached to the underside).
One of the girls tries on a huge feathered head-dress (with doves attached) before a dressing-room mirror. Several shots of Percival and the designer looking at costumes being modelled, as in cut story.
Numerous shots of the dance numbers from the start and end of cut story; most are of the voodoo routine from different angles. Nice M/S as a waiter pours some rather flat-looking champagne for a couple at a table; M/S of another couple at a table, presumably watching the show - they don't look very animated!
